Kyrie may think of himself as an artist, and it may help to think of him as an artist of a certain kind, but I personally think that he's mostly just an egotist and super self-absorbed. I also think he isn't nearly as intelligent as he imagines he is. I was actually thinking about Kyrie the other day, as I was thinking about the fact that I actually briefly liked him. When was that, you ask? It was when he was "Uncle Drew". Uncle Drew, I liked. I also liked him when he told a reporter who had idiotically asked him what it was like to have Lebron James as a "father figure": "I have one father. His name is Drederick Rubin Irving. He lives in Brooklyn, New York." That was good. Since then, however, I think I have disliked pretty much every thing Kyrie has said and done. He's a phenomenal basketball player. No question. However, Kyrie thinks way, way too highly of Kyrie, in my opinion, and Kyrie spends too much time thinking about Kyrie. While it would be kind of cool to see a bird flying backwards, as you say, said bird will never get to where it wants to get to and it will likely eventually run into a tree. :-)
